This is more about certain subcats than about Category:Wikipedia Day itself. Nearly all of the subcats for particular years have names of the form "Wikipedia Day YEAR". However, we have Category:Wikipedia 10, Category:Wikipedia 15, Category:Wikipedia 20, and Category:Wikipedia 25, which do not fit the pattern. I believe they should be brought in line with the rest. - As you can see 10 years, 15 years, 20 years and 25 years are milestones and have different patterns. Pleese keep as is. HenkvD (talk) 05:19, 27 June 2026 (UTC)
- I don't mind those being kept as redirects, but it completely escapes me why they should be differently named categories. I can't offhand think of another series of events that we handle that way. - Jmabel ! talk 06:48, 27 June 2026 (UTC)
- I think it would be more uniform and consistent if all categories used the same notation. Every birthday is a milestone in my opinion. If everything used the same notation, all categories would be easier to find. Kind regards, Perquirius (talk) 08:35, 27 June 2026 (UTC)
- Noone celebrates Wikipedia 2026, but everyone knows Wikipedia 25. It should be left as is. Анастасия Львоваru/en 11:47, 27 June 2026 (UTC)
- For rather variable values of "everyone". - Jmabel ! talk 17:05, 27 June 2026 (UTC)

Oppose. I don't think any further unification is needed here. "Wikipedia 10", "Wikipedia 20" etc - these are not just the names of categories, but also the slogan (wordmark, tagline) of the corresponding holiday (which has a broader context than the usual annual celebrations "Wikipedia day"). These categories is included in additional category axis, e.g. "Wikipedia 10" - in "10th anniversaries" and "10 years". And in these categories, such names seem quite appropriate. --Kaganer (talk) 13:21, 27 June 2026 (UTC)- Another weird thing I see is that the main category for Wikipedia anniversaries is named Category:Wikipedia birthdays and not Category:Wikipedia anniversaries. They are not "birthdays" in the sense of anniversaries of living organisms ("birth anniversaries" for dead ones), so they should be "Wikipedia anniversaries".
