Let\u2019s take a smartphone for an example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Say, you sell a certain smartphone model. The model has three colors\u2014black, blue, and white, and storage capacity of 32 and 64 GB. Variations as separate products:<\/strong> product variations with this feature will get a separate position in the catalog with a unique SEO name. Variations as one product:<\/strong> product variations with this feature won\u2019t get a separate catalog position\u2014they are grouped under the parent product. Choose this purpose to avoid filling the catalog with looking alike products. For example, set this purpose for the <em>Size<\/em> or <em>Storage<\/em> capacity feature. An admin can configure variations almost like usual products:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Set an individual price and list price<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Upload multiple images for each variation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set individual shipping properties<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set quantity discounts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create and update product variations and convert simple products to variations via import.
